Teaching has been my second career following a long period as a research biologist in industry. This aspect of my life gave me many opportunities to apply what I had learned in University to real-life situations. This is so important when studying biology - why is the topic we are currently studying so important and relevant in real circumstances? I use applied aspects of biology to underpin the theories that are specified in the exam syllabus.

Availability: Available all day and evening Monday and Tuesday, then evenings the rest of the week. Saturday morning may be possible

Experience: A teacher with 16 years of teaching experience in state and independent school settings. I am able to support students with GCSE Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. I am a specialist teacher of A-level Biology for AQA, OCR, and Edexcel exam boards. Similarly, I have taught the biological aspects of A level Environmental Science and Human Biology.
