I`m a fully-qualified teacher of languages with more than twelve years of teaching experience up to and including GCSE AND A-Level. I provide tuition in German (up to and including A-Level) French (up to and including GCSE) as well as Dutch and English (EFL) to students of all ages and abilities.

Availability: I can teach in person at an agreed location but I also offer distance learning via Skype or Zoom.

I can offer tutoring in the evenings and during weekends.

Experience: I hold a 2.1 degree in BA German from the University of Lancaster and a PGCE in Secondary MFL. I also have an SKE in French. As part of my degree, I studied modules in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and spent a year abroad working in industry in Germany. After graduating in 2005, I trained as a languages teacher at the University of Cumbria. Since qualifying in 2006, I have been working as a secondary German and French teacher from Key Stage 2 up to and including Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

I fully recognise that pupils need to feel relaxed in order to improve their speaking skills in particular and believe that my style of teaching will remove any barriers to learning and allow students to feel comfortable.
