Information about Jeannie
I am a fully qualified secondary school English teacher with 30 years of teaching experience. I have proven success at KS3, GCSE and A Level-the latter in Literature and in Language.
Availability: Evenings and Weekends.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have been teaching GCSE English Literature and GCSE English for AQA and WJEC for the past 27 years. I am currently teaching the new WJEC Eduqas courses in both subjects.
I have 19 years experience of A Level teaching -both Language and Literature. I am currently teaching the Edexcel A Level English Language syllabus and their English Literature A Level. In the past, I have taught English Language for AQA
On top of this, I am an experienced GCSE examiner having examined for the last 19 years for AQA and WJEC in both Language and Literature. I have expertise in preparing students for examination success.
I have experience of tutoring students who need to improve their skills in English so that they can not only pass their exams but also gain confidence in their own abilities in the subject-something they may not gain in a classroom situation.
