Business is the subject that I am passionate about. However, I have supported students in many subjects for all ages. I enjoy helping young people reach their potential by enabling them to understand and exploit their strengths. Having worked in international schools in France and Spain I have experience in supporting students studying British qualifications in English as their second language. I have also supported students with learning difficulties, building organisational frameworks, time structures and emotional scaffolding to help them through revision and examinations. Finally, I was also an enthusiastic Duke of Edinburgh Award Leader for 7 years.
Availability: I am available weekdays 4pm - 8pm in the evenings, Saturday and Sunday.

Experience: I have 10 years of teaching experience in international schools in France and Spain teaching British curriculum KS3-5 (specialist in GCSE, A Level Business, IB Business Management, also IB TOK, generalist in English Lang and Lit and all humanities subjects ). I was also IB Coordinator for 3 years and therefore part of the Sixth Form Team, offering guidance in UCAS applications.

Eleanor was a great help with my son during his A levels and BTEC on Business Studies. His coursework improved and his general understanding of the topic that allowed more in depth knowledge to be built up. Eleanor was very approachable and highly proactive with both my son and his school to work out what was coming up, where focus was needed and best exam prep work which all in turn led to well structured and thought out tutor sessions and follow up activities. This review is left after results have been obtained and pleasingly my son achieved the highest grade which was not a consideration at the outset of the tutoring. Highly recommended.
