Information about Juan
I have a degree in Journalism in Spain as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Linguistic Studies (Distinction) and an MA in Applied Linguistics (Merit) at Birkbeck College (University of London). I love teaching Spanish to motivated students.
My linguistic interests are also the analysis of language in political and media settings (discourse analysis). I advocate for a critical thinking on how language is used in political and media settings but also on our day-to-day basis. I love history, literature, linguistics, and journalism. In my free time, I enjoy practicing sports also, basketball and tennis in particular, and football also.
Availability: I´m available from 9 am to 8 pm Monday to Saturday.

Experience: Apart from my journalistic experience, both in Spain and London, I have provided individual tutoring in the Spanish language in London. Also, I have volunteered as a Spanish teacher in the Department of Spanish Language in a Secondary school in London.
