Information about Alex
I`m a recently graduated doctor of astrophysics from Keele University! During my time there (four years) I`ve been lucky enough to experience all kinds of teaching roles in Physics and Maths for undergraduate classes, and also I`ve worked for two years as a science tutor for all ages up to A-level.
I understand that sometimes the sciences can seem daunting but I have a proven track record of improving student`s grades, and I think the key is to be able to break down problems in a more digestible way. I have 8 years of University experience that I can share when it comes to tackling Physics problems. I am aware that whilst schools and colleges have a lot they need to teach, information can seem to be delivered so rapidly, and I`m on hand to help students - no matter how small or `embarrassing` they think their problems are. I`m a firm believer that the best achievers are the ones that enjoy what they do along the way and I`ve always tried to ensure my lessons are fun!
Availability: Monday to Thursday evenings from 5pm onwards.
