I studied Politics and International Relations at Coventry University.

I have particular strengths in US Politics as well as UK Politics

In addition to this I teach History from KS3-KS4, this naturally includes GCSE History.

History and Politics can be difficult subjects with many complicated theories. I explain such matters in an uncomplicated and humorous (I like to think) manner, therefore not only ensuring you understand the content but also ensuring you will remember it.

Experience: I have a degree in Politics and International Relations and am Head of Politics at an outstanding school in Hertfordshire.

I teach the Edexcel specification for A Level Politics and cover UK and US politics as well as Political Ideas.

In addition to this I also teach GCSE History and again cover the Edexcel specification, covering: The Cold War, Weimar and Nazi Germany, Anglo-Saxon and Norman Britain as well as Crime and Punishment throughout Britain.

All my exam classes have achieved positive value added, with students achieving their target grade or surpassing it.

I can assist with exam technique, structuring answers, how to write an excellent essay as well as content.
