I am a 6th year medical student at Oxford. I have a keen interest in science and maths and how they relate to the everyday world around us. This gives me a strong base from which to teach these subjects, which can often be presented in a very dry manner, in a more engaging and memorable way.



I have helped out at Oxford interviews for 2 of the last 3 years giving me useful insight into how to best prepare for the process. I am happy to go over personal statements for any subject as well as provide interview practice for medical applicants.

With regard to tutoring I focus on exam technique to ensure that a tutee`s performance is maximised. My first session will usually focus on areas of weakness and strength along with a discussion of the tutee`s aims. From then on sessions will be focused on specific areas for which I am more than happy to provide notes.

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekends. Timings of availability may occasionally vary but I should be able to accomodate most requests

Experience: I have assisted a significant number of candidates in their application to medical school and university with consistent success. Additionally I have experience tutoring from GCSE to University level, giving me insight into a range of learning and teaching styles.
