I have a BA (hons) Open University degree completed as a mature student with a mixture of subjects such as Child Development and Special Needs but mostly in English Language and Literature.

I also have PGCE and over twenty years teaching experience in schools, colleges and as a 1-1 tutor.

Availability: Weekdays. Day or evening.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have taught as a 1-1 tutor for over 10 years, working with students with SEND. Most of the students have had mental health issues, ASD or OCD.

Through a calm and understanding approach, I have seen students get back to their joy of learning after a difficult time in the school environment. I have successfully taught GCSE Maths. English Literature, English Language, History and Childcare. I have also taught Entry Level and Functional Skills English and maths.

Prior to working as a tutor, I also taught English literature and Language A levels and resist gcse at college for 9 years.
