Ellena

Hey!
I`m Elle, I am a recent university graduate, who has just completed a BA English Language and Literature degree at the University of Birmingham - earning a First Class, with honors.
With a strong background in both Maths and English I specialise in helping students to not only achieve their best in their exams, but also increase their confidence in and around these subjects overall.
My sessions are tailored to your needs, with weekly quizzes to review your learning, and structured guidance around tricky topics - all designed to help guide you through your studies in a way that is accessible and fun.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have nearly six years of experience tutoring students to excel in their Maths and English GCSEs. In this time, I have supported learners with a wide range of needs, helping them re-engage with education when they have previously struggled or felt misunderstood by their teachers. My university studies have also deepened my understanding of teaching English as a second language, giving me valuable insight into the challenges EAL students face and the tailored support they may require to succeed in a second-language learning environment.
