Hey!
I`m Elle, a final year student, currently studying BA English Language and Literature at the University of Birmingham.
With a strong background in both Maths and English I specialise in helping students to not only achieve their best in their exams, but also increase their confidence in and around these subjects overall.
My sessions are tailored to your needs, with weekly quizzes to review your learning, and structured guidance around tricky topics - all designed to help guide you through your studies in a way that is accessible and fun.

Experience: I have nearly five years of experience tutoring students to excel in their Maths and English GCSEs. In this time, I have supported learners with a wide range of needs, helping them re-engage with education when they have previously struggled or felt misunderstood by their teachers. My university studies have also deepened my understanding of teaching English as a second language, giving me valuable insight into the challenges EAL students face and the tailored support they may require to succeed in a second-language learning environment.

Elle has been absolutely amazing. My daughter was struggling with her English literature and was feeling worried about her exams. Elle from the first session put my daughter at ease and worked really well. She put together flash cards and power point for my daughter to work from and went through each points to make sure everything was understood. Elle put a lot of time and effort to make my daughter feel confident in her answers giving great advice on how to tweak certain points and give more explanation. My daughter has felt really good going into her exams and I can’t thank Elle enough for all her efforts. She has been a truly awesome tutor and would recommend her highly.
