I am a qualified teacher of Science with PGCE having met and satisfied the professional standards for qualified teachers. I am an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about science and I have been teaching science for over ten years.
Availability: Week days from 6 Pm and weekends - mornings and evenings.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have a sound understanding of how students learn having taught in primary and secondary schools. I trained to teach Chemistry and Biology up to A level. I have taught a range of subjects and specifications to a wide age range of students. I have taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics (KS3 and KS4), OCR 21st science, BTEC Applied Science, Literacy and PSHE.
I plan and personalise my lessons to meet the needs of all learners. I have been involved in small group Science intervention lessons as well as 1:1 intervention sessions with students in the past, I am also currently a private tutor helping students to prepare for GCSE examinations. My students consistently do well in external/GCSE examinations.
