I have taught the history of the world economy, including trade policy along with the problems of financial and stock market crashes, with a speciality in the Great Depression. My other main areas of teaching have included the Cold War, nuclear issues, public history and research methods. I, for many years, ran the Dissertation Research Skills half-unit module for dissertation finalists, and ‘Toolkit’ study skills lectures for first years.

Educated at Kent (BA(Hons) in Economic and Social History), the LSE (MSc in Economic History), the ANU (PhD in Economics) and the University of London (Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education).

Availability: I will be available for online teaching only.

Potentially available Monday to Sunday starting at 8:00AM and finishing at 7:00PM (last start: 6:00PM).
