I am a qualified English teacher in my tenth year of teaching and am currently Director of English and Assistant Headteacher at a high performing school in Warrington. I have also examined for AQA for three years and have always recieved excellent feedback. I have worked in a variety of schools and have experience teaching KS3-KS5 students. I am passionate about teaching, which is evident in my students` excellent results.

My tutoring style consists of a focused and personalised approach which is results based. I can identify quickly areas of strength and weakness in students and use this to develop strategies that will improve the areas needed.

I have graduated with a 1st class Masters degree in Education which has enabled me to use well-researched, effective teaching methods that provide the very best opportunities for success. Above all, my commitment and dedication to each student will ensure progress is made and success is achieved.

Availability: Monday to Friday after 7pm
Potentially weekend slot depending on need

Would prefer to tutor a student who follows the AQA specification as this is my area of expertise but I am open to other exam boards.
