I`m passionate about teaching law and enabling students to develop their skills and become confident and competent in applying their knowledge and understanding.

I have taught business law for over 10 years and have researched a range of areas in depth for my LLM including land law, public law, employment law, ADR, law of tort, contract law, criminal and international law.

My background in commercial finance and the airline industry gave me many opportunities of seeing how theory and practice of law combined to provide solutions. My objective in teaching law is to make the subject interesting and understandable by relating legal concepts and principles to everyday situations.

My teaching methods are flexible and tailored to the needs and learning styles of students.
I can help with:
Lesson planning and progress reviews
Solving problem questions and applying relevant law
Reviewing essays and assignments for accuracy and correct referencing
Sample questions and answers
Exercises and case studies to reinforce learning
Exam preparation and revision strategies

Availability: Monday: 2pm to 6pm
Tuesday: 11am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm
Other days, including evenings and weekends, by arrangement

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I taught business law (part-time) at a London university for over 10 years, which involved preparation of course material, delivery of lessons and tutoring and supporting students to gain a professional qualification.

Serving as a Moderator and Deputy Examiner for an awarding body provided valuable experience in syllabus review, question setting and exam practice.

I am a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy.
