I graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 with a BA Honours in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) and have recently decided I would like to pursue a career in teaching. I am enrolled on a Modern Languages PGCE course at St Mary`s College in Twickenham which will start in September 2014.

I will talk to the student (and parent) to establish the main reasons for seeking a tutor and then help them achieve their goals. I will tailor my lesson plans to the needs of the individual and I am happy to work from textbooks or handouts and I believe the best route to exam success is working through past papers.

I also think for many students the key is organisation and therefore I am happy to create learning plans and set out a clear structure in order for them to take ownership of their learning so that they can study effectively in between lessons.

Availability: - All day Monday and Friday until 6pm.
- Tuesday mornings until 12:00pm.
- Wednesday and Thursday mornings until 12pm and then from 3pm until 6pm.
- Sunday evenings between 5pm and 7pm

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I worked at St Paul`s Collegiate School in New Zealand for a year and taught languages to a range of age groups.

I also tutored my brother and other family friends through their GCSE exams this summer so have an up to date knowledge of the curriculum.
