I am a fully qualified and experienced junior and secondary teacher with an SEN specialism. I am a fully qualified SENCo with more than 10 years experience working specifically with academically able dyslexic and autistic children.

Guiding hundreds of pupils through their exams - always exceeding predicted grades. I teach GCSE, A-Level and IB for all the exam boards and keep up-to-date with any specification changes.

2022 & 2023 results: My homeschool client achieved a 9 and my afterschool online client achieved an 8.

2021 results: As well as continuing with my existing Geography clients, I diversified to teach online and in person KS2 Humanities, GCSE Physics, GCSE Biology and GCSE English Literature. My GCSE clients all sat external examinations with their associated private exam centres and all achieved grade 9s!

2020 results: As many of my students started back with me in the Autumn Term they were able to perform at their best in the December and January Mock exams. As a result they were working their socks off to reach their predicted grade level before lockdown and achieved: 7s-9s for GCSE and Cs and Bs at A Level. All my A Level students got their first choice university place.

2019 results: A* for IGCSE, 5s to 9s for GCSE and I am so proud of my A Level students; all predicted D or E grades and achieved C, B and A grades. They have all exceeded their predictions by at least two grades!

My specialism is working with pupils with special education needs and disabilities. Every one of my students has a tailor-made lesson structure; specifically to align with their exam board and personal needs. Many of my students are delighted to be able to direct the topics of their study, review concepts that they find difficult and then find new found confidence through exam question practise.

I offer fieldwork data collection trips and have organised: river, coastal, glacial, tectonic, tourism, urban settlement, to name just a few. Each trip is carefully managed to apply to the exam board criteria and I teach specific geographical skills that apply across all the examined papers (often useful for science too).

I am available to teach 1:1 across Gloucestershire and online tuition for students across the world.

Availability: Home school students 11-18 years old: 1.5 - 4 hours a week depending upon level. During term time, Friday 10am - 2pm.

Study support students 15-18 years old: 1-2 hours a week.
Term-time (and holidays if required), evenings from 5pm or weekends.

Last minute exam preparation: 2-4 hours.
During April, May and June at a convenient time for us both.

I have limited availability for exam preparation 2024 - please contact me to discuss your requirements in the first instance. I have filled my two face-to-face home-school student slots available starting September 2023. I may be able to fit in online sessions around other commitments and therefore more flexible with timings.
