Ed is an accomplished pianist across the whole musical spectrum __ from jazz, through pop, rock, and soul, to classical __ available for lessons at all levels. Ed attained a distinction in his ATCL classical piano diploma in 2013, and graduated with a First in Music from the University of Oxford in 2015. In the last five years he has acquired a wealth of experience playing solo piano for private events, as well as in jazz piano trios and wedding party bands across the south of England. He has also recorded sessions with numerous up-and-coming singer songwriters, notably Mary Spender, Zoe , and Michaela Fedeczko.

Ed looks right away to identify with each student their musical interests and goals. He makes sure that every student is getting started on playing piano music that they love from the first lesson, and he looks to build the essential knowledge about theory and technique gradually around the student`s preferred styles/genres. Ed is happy to teach students no matter their pace of learning or commitment level.

Availability: Excellent availability Mondays-Thursdays daytimes and evenings.

Experience: Ed has experience giving music lessons in schools on a peripatetic basis, as well as teaching piano to adult beginners from home and online tutoring for Music GCSE.
