Information about George
Hi my name is George. In 2018 I finished my Master`s degree in Natural Sciences from UCL (Astrophysics and Geophysics) and since I have been working in astronomy related outreach in Northumberland.
I can offer tutoring in both Physics and Maths (and some Biology) with the first lesson free!
I achieved A* in Physics, Maths and Biology A-levels, and know what it is like to put in the hours of studying to attain this, which is why I am so passionate about helping others achieve their goals.
I`m a very personable person who is willing to work with anyone at any level of their education. I believe it is very important to build a rapport with an individual to identify where they are wanting to improve and what subjects they are confident in, so that progress and understanding can improve together.
Availability: All week: 9am - 5pm
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have got previous experience of tutoring GCSE Maths students when studying for my A-levels, and tutoring other students in my final years at university in Physics and Astronomy.
