I am an experienced Primary Tutor based in the Oxfordshire area. My aim is to help pupils develop academically by increasing their confidence and knowledge in those subject areas which they find challenging.

Availability: I am available anytime after 5pm weekdays and most times on weekends. During the Summer Holidays I will have greater availability in the day; this is something in which we can discuss if you are looking for Summer Holiday Tuition.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have 2 years of tutoring experience at Primary Level, particularly in English and Maths. I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant in a school, so am very up to date with the current school curriculums and learning techniques / methods. Through working as a TA I have experience working with children on a 1:1 basis helping them develop academically and building their confidence in those subjects which they may struggle with or need extra support in. I strategically plan each session so that its tailored to the individual students needs and what they aim to get out of them. I usually have a conversation a week prior to starting tuition to see how I can best help and prepare for the sessions. Where necessary I am happy to give out practice questions if these would benefit the student, mark them and give feedback in order to optimise learning.

I also have experience in tutoring children with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.
