Information about Diane
I have over 30 years teaching experience ranging from wor with children with Multi Sensory Impairments, Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia through to tutoring for GCSE and A Level Eng Lang and Lit. I am also a registered examiner for English Literature. I also teach English as a foreign language.
I also teach Music Theory, Violin to Grade 8 and Piano to Grade 5 Associated Board.
I am currently set up to do online Zoom sessions, sharing worksheets and powerpoints and am able to access online activities and programmes through screen sharing.
Availability: I have availability on most days and some evenings/weekends.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have been tutoring 1:1 for the last 4 years in a wide range of subjects (please see above) and have a positive approach to wor with young people and adults which is designed to bring out the best of ability through self confidence and self esteem. Every child/adult has the ability to learn if given the right opportunity and aporoach. I try to bring out the best of that ability with all of my pupils and students.

Diane tutored my daughter in the lead-up to her English Language GCSE exams. As a result, my daughter`s grade improved from 3 to 6. Diane is a consistent and practical teacher who is very good at providing constructive feedback without being discouraging. I would definitely recommend her for teaching both English Language and Literature.
