Information about Freya
`Outstanding` Primary School Teacher currently available for online tutoring. Experienced in all subjects across the Primary age range. Lots of experience working with children and young people from age 3 - 18 having worked in Primary and Secondary Schools. I gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2018 and I was graded as `Outstanding`. I have particular experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and in teaching Phonics, Reading, Writing, handwriting (both cursive and non-cursive) and Maths. My main focus as a tutor is to make learners resilient and confident. I like to make learning fun and interactive too. I build excellent relationships in order to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
Availability: Currently available Monday through to the weekend but please contact me for specific times.

Experience: Gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2018 and I was graded as `Outstanding`.
Prior to that I worked in a Montessori School, as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School and as a Cover Supervisor in Year 6. Experienced in SATs preparation in both Year 2 and Year 6. Lots of experience teaching Key Stage One too.

Freya has tutored our two children via Zoom for several weeks while their school has been closed. Both our daughter (nine) and son (seven) have greatly enjoyed the sessions. Freya has concentrated on supporting them with weekly tasks set by the school. She has made these tasks engaging and fun, helped them to improve and to get their work done. Freya has been friendly and warm during the sessions, which have been well structured and organised. Thank you Freya, we`ve really appreciated your tutoring!
