Politics is best understood through translating complex concepts into digestible ideas.
I’m a friendly and approachable Politics tutor who enjoys making lessons engaging and supportive. I believe pupils learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and exploring different viewpoints. Seeing pupils become more confident and interested in the subject is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me.

I achieved an A* in Politics at A-Level, alongside an A* in Geography and an A in Biology. I’m currently studying Politics at university, where I achieved a First last year and am on track for a First again this year. My academic journey has deepened my passion for the subject and allows me to bring current political debates and real-world examples into lessons.

I previously worked as a mentor in Year 12, which helped me develop the skills to support students academically while also building their confidence. In my sessions, I like to start by sharing a clear plan so pupils know what we’re working towards, and I focus on creating an environment where everyone feels supported and encouraged to participate.

Outside of tutoring and university, I enjoy going to the gym and keeping up to date with politics through news, podcasts, and discussions. My long-term goal is to go into academia, so helping pupils develop their understanding of politics is something I’m genuinely passionate about.
