I have been a yoga practitioner since the age of six, and a teacher for the last five years, having taught as the president of the Dharma Society at my university and now as a freelance instructor in London. I have travelled to both Thailand and southern India to study yoga with my mentor, BNS Iyengar. At the age of 92, Master Iyengar is the last-surviving student of Krishnamacharya, the man responsible for the spread of yoga throughout the world. Having spent over a year under Iyengar`s tutelage, I have learnt the advanced postures, meditation, pranayama (breath exercises), mudras (energy retention), mantras, yogic/hindu philosophy, adjustments and anatomy. Information about Benjamin

Born in NW London, I have written novels, short stories and poetry for as long as I`ve been able to hold a pen. As such, I aim to extend the same passion for literature to anyone I encounter.

I was given an unconditional offer to study the Literature with Creative Writing course at UEA, and graduated in 2016 with 1st Class Honours and the award for Excellence. I have since been writing, publishing and performing his work.

Availability: I am also a freelance yoga instructor, so as long as classes don`t clash, my time is very flexible.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: While I have not officially tutored before, I have experience teaching yoga to children as young as six and adults as old as eighty

Other than that, I am regularly asked to edit and critique people`s essays, fiction and poetry.
