Hello! I am a keen linguist, with a passion for all things languages! I am a qualified Modern Languages teacher and have experience teaching at both primary and secondary level, as well as doing some private tuition in my spare time for the last 8 years. I have been lucky enough to live in different countries around the world and love to discuss the intercultural differences, similarities and the unique nature of each country and language. I have an avid interest in world cinema and art and enjoy incorporating such original material into my teaching.

Availability: I am very flexible - so free in school holidays, as well as evenings and weekends during holidays and term time.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I taught for a year in Reims, France and also have volunteered as a teaching assistant for two years. My approach to teaching focuses strongly on communication and fluidity of expression and fostering a safe environment in which tutees feel free to make a mistake, laugh and learn from this base. I am very keen to include and introduce original cultural material such as music and film to bring the language to life and show its relevance.
