Information about Aileen
I am a qualified teacher of over seven years. I specialise in the subject of Geography and have a BSc Geography honours degree from Queens University Belfast and a PGCE in Geography from the Institute of Education, London. I have taught in North London, in a school where I have had 100% of the students in my class pass GCSE Geography at A* - C grade. I have also taught in Abu Dhabi and Dublin so have experience in a range of exam boards.
I specialise in getting students ready for exams and hold revision classes in the lead up to exams to ensure students have the knowledge in place to answer exam question correctly and in detail to achieve the best possible marks.
I am an examiner with AQA and have experience with other exams boards such as Ed Excel and OCR and EdExcel iGCSE. I have been a tutor for seven years and have had numerous successes throughout these seven years with all students I have taught.

Aileen tutored my daughter throughout the second lockdown, preparing her for her GCSEs, and I could not rate her highly enough. She was incredibly knowledgeable and used a range of teaching methods to help my daughter grasp new concepts, as well as breaking down and unpicking exam questions. My daughter went from a 4 to a 7 in just a few months. I’d be more than happy to recommend her to anyone looking for a Geography tutor.

Aileen is a great teacher. She is very organised and competent. Lessons are prepared and sent prior to classes and she`s always ready at the scheduled day and time. My daughter now has better understanding of geography topics in the areas where she struggled before. My daughter finds her child-friendly, very patient and great at explaining. Overall, I`m very pleased with Aileen`s extensive knowledge of the subject, her commitment and teaching technique.
