I am an enthusiastic teacher and tutor with twenty years experience in a variety of educational settings.
My most recent professional role is in UK Secondary Education (KS3 and 4) teaching English Language and Literature (GCSE- AQA, Cambridge IGCSE and Ed excel) and Art and Design.
Prior to this I have taught English as a second language (including IELTS and Cambridge FCE),Adult Literacy and Employability Skills to diverse groups of adults in rural and inner city community settings.
I am friendly and approachable. My students enjoy working with me and achieve excellent results.
I use a variety of teaching methods including digital media to motivate and encourage my students to learn.
My speciality is in strengthening students writing skills and instilling confidence.
I have an MA in Development Education from The Institute of Education,UCL ( No 1 University World Rankings Education).
