As a double bass teacher, I will aim to create a tailor made programme for each individual student as every student will have a different approach to learning. I feel confident that I will be able to develop students to their full potential providing them with constructive ways to practise and develop a strong work ethic. I am most enthusiastic and a passionate teacher who has taught a variety of ages. My teaching is all about exciting students to play their instrument and to encourage them to work hard to achieve their full potensial.


I have lots of experience teaching and working with young children. Learning an instrument should be fun for every student and with my own personal experience of working in professional orchestras, I am able to bring my own enthusiasm and passion for music to each lesson. I have been involved with educational projects with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Wales and as part of the London Philharmonic Foyle Future First development orchestral scheme. I have also undertaken educational projects with the Nonesuch Orchestra.
