I`m James, an experienced Chemistry teacher. I have taught chemistry as a fully qualified teacher for 3 years, and have mentored other teachers at my previous school.

My preference would be to teach Chemistry and scientific exam technique to GCSE level (any syllabus), and I have a particularly detailed knowledge of the AQA specification. I would be willing and able to also teach Chemistry A-level / IB, Physics GCSE, and Biology GCSE.

I hold a PGCE in Science Education from Cambridge, as well as a PhD in Chemistry from the same.

I was identified by students and colleagues as caring, patient, and adaptable. I particularly enjoyed helping students, and many came to me for one-to-one sessions in school regarding academic, pastoral, and post-16 queries.
