PhD in Organic/Inorganic Chemistry

I am an experienced, friendly and patient tutor with a PhD in Organic Chemistry (and 1st Class Hons Degree in Biochemistry). I offer an online and in-person tuition for KS3, GCSE, A-level ad IB chemistry students.

I have experience in tutoring UK students with various learning skills and education background as well as students form New York and the International School of Moscow. Thus, in addition to the experience with the UK exam boarding system (including AQA, Edexcel and OCR (A) exam boards), my curriculum knowledge extends to the international level.

My lessons are personalised, structured and engaging. I plan every lesson in order to meet each student’s specific requirements and sparkle their interest in the subject.

Main focal points of my lessons:

• Enrich the understanding of key chemistry concepts/research techniques

• Improve grades (offer exam preparation technique) and ensure progress

• Enhance motivation and develop analytical/critical skills

During my class I offer a variety of material, such as power point presentations, textbooks in accordance to your course, tests, assessment sheets together with exam past papers. I normally find a perfect balance of theory and practice specifically for every student.

I love engaging my students by asking them questions to enhance their creativity. This, most importantly, allows students to apply their theory knowledge to practice, which I believe, is one of the best ways to learn.

I believe that my thorough, caring and enthusiastic approach to teaching will help students reach their full potential and therefore achieve their best exam results.
