I only teach geography! Nothing else as I’m a specialist! I have 19 years experience. Working at an outstanding school as Head of Department. I am also a Senior Examiner for an examination board. I have a proven track record of examination results with pupils progress comparable with the top schools in England, currently top 1%.
At A Level I can assist with all examination boards. I also have extensive knowledge of the Independent enquiry.
At GCSE I can assist with content, examination technique and pre-release material. At GCSE I am an examiner for one of the exam boards.
I have vast experience of tutoring face to face in the West Midlands/Worcestershire area.
Availability: Available outside of the school working day, evenings and weekends. School holidays in the West Midlands/Worcestershire area. I am able to offer more slots via online tutoring.

Richard provided excellent tuition for my daughter for GSCE geography. He is approachable, dependable and struck the right balance between encouraging and stretching my daughter. My daughter appreciated his ability to explain how to answer questions clearly and incorporate details for the exam for the best mark. I might add his input helped change the case study for urban gentrification in human geography, assisting every GCSE student at our local comprehensive school. We live near Birmingham but the school had students study London for the urban gentrification study. Richard was surprised they weren`t studying Birmingham for this as kids have local knowledge to aid their understanding and in the exam. I took this suggestion to the head of Geography and our local school has changed the case study to Birmingham for the this element. I know this as my youngest daughter now is sitting GCSE geography.

Richard is an outstanding A Level Geography tutor. He coached my daughter through Year 13 to achieve an excellent grade. He was always prepared for lessons, enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the subject. He went over and above in every session and my daughter found the lessons really motivating. Not only did he teach Geography but gave more general advice on revision techniques along with support and guidance throughout the exam period. We could not have found a better tutor.
