My name is Katy and I am passionate about English Language and Literature and ready to help you achieve your goals, whether you are working towards a particular test or exam or just want to brush up on your spoken English. I am a subject specialist with a Masters in Literature and a passion for enabling young people to achieve the best grades in their examinations.

I can offer private tuition at any level in English Language, Literature and English as a second language. I also offer writing tutorials up to and including degree level, regardless of your subject discipline.

Our initial consultation, during which I will assess your needs and work with you to create a learning plan, will be free of charge. I am excited to work with you to motivate you and help you succeed in English, so please contact me to discuss our journey together!

Experience: I have a BA with Honours and an MA in Literature and am TEFL qualified with an additional certificate in One to One Teaching. I have experience working as a team manager in an administrative setting which has equipped me with the ability to provide motivation, guidance and support. I have recently spent time shadowing high school English teachers from years 9-13 with a particular focus on GCSE and A level exam preparation which has given me first hand experience of the changes in the curriculum, particularly in light of the new grading system.

I currently tutor GCSE, A Level, Degree level and ESOL clients. I also teach KS3 homeschool students online. I am familiar with AQA and EdExcel syllabuses as well as National Curriculum requirements for KS3 and above.
