Information about Karen
I am an experienced Maths teacher (of 25 years). I have been tutoring full time for the past 5 years. I have a love for my subject and I aim to give students an appreciation of this amazing subject. Over the past few years I have also tutored Science and I now tutor up to GCSE. My preferred Sciences being Chemistry and Physics.
I use cognitive strategies to increase students understanding and long term memory of the topics. I also give students strategies on how best to revise and learn.
I am very good at forming positive relationships with students and I am a good listener, responding to students needs and I am flexible. I can change what I have intended teaching to what is needed at the time.
Availability: Available for tutoring; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Experience: I have taught all abilities in my career. From Students with special needs, KS3, GCSE at all levels and A-level. I have recently been tutoring A-Levels and GCSE.
