Hi, I`m Alison. I have been a British Sign Language teacher/assessor for 26 years. I can teach BSL Levels 1 - 6. I thoroughly enjoy meeting and communicating with different people. An area of work I am extremely passionate about is Deaf Awareness. I feel Deaf Awareness is very important and I love teaching people about it and raising awareness for the Deaf community. I am a native BSL user, my brother is also Deaf, and my Grandmother was a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults).

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I am available for any help you may need with learning BSL. Whether that be 1-1 tuition prior to an upcoming assessment or just general interest in learning a new language. If you are looking to do a fully accredited course with certification, I can offer this, or you may just want to learn for fun and not have the pressures of sitting an exam for the certificate. Either way, I am here to help you.

Other hobbies I have include hiking and I love to challenge myself each year, by taking on big adventures such as, the three peaks challenge and Hadrian`s wall.
