Information about Neil
I am 39 years old and have an MA in English Literature with Education Studies from Cambridge University. I have extensive experience of developing individuals potential, having taught and supported students from a wide ability range over the past thirteen years. I particularly enjoy the poetry of Thomas Hardy, Philip Larkin and John Hegley, and several plays I have written have been performed at Bromsgrove School.

Experience: I have taught English at primary, middle and secondary school level, tutored A-level English students at Worcester College of Technology and delivered lectures at Worcester University. At Archway Academy in Birmingham, I supported individuals who have experienced difficulties in mainstream education by preparing bespoke literacy materials, which led to their first qualifications. I have privately tutored in English and Maths and was recently informed that one of my former pupils is currently studying for their GCSE in Year 8.
For five years, I was a Probation Service Officer based in the Worcester Programmes Unit of West Mercia Probation Trust. I delivered four nationally accredited programmes, including the One-to-One Programme.

Neil is a great tutor, I can see development in my studies and my assignment. My uni tutor sees a difference in my work, I had a good mark and a good feedback from my uni tutor. I`m very pleased that I chose Neil, he knows what he`s talking about. I also want to say thank you Tutorhunt for your amazing tutors.

Very early days, we have had one introductory meeting, all appears professional, focussed to requirement and of benefit. Please come back for a more considered opinion once the teaching begins in earnest!
