I am a conscientious, enthusiastic, and patient tutor with a degree in English Literature from The University of Manchester. I have always established and sustained supportive, positive relationships with those I teach, and I pride myself on tutoring with confident emotional and academic wisdom.

Experience: I have two-years of tutoring experience, I have tutored from KS3 up to degree level. Tutoring for: English Literature, English Language, History, Art and Dance.

I possess a strong foundational knowledge of English, American and Medieval Literature as I undertook a wide range of modules whilst at university. I specialised in Gender Studies and Modernist Literature, and I wrote my dissertation on Women’s Surrealist Literature in the inter-war period.

I gained an A at A-Level in History, and have a personal fascination with the subject. I have an extensive understanding of the Cold War period, Hitler / the Third Reich, 20th-Century British Politics and the Russian Revolution. Alongside my A-Level, I developed my knowledge through personal research; my aptitude for independent work comes from the fascination my teachers instilled in me for the subject. I always try to pass on to my students the same level of interest through positive and passionate mentoring.

I currently work as a professional copy-writer for a publishing house.
