I am a third year medic at the University of Leicester. I have recently finished a Masters in Translational Medicine having completed my first degree, which was a B.Sc (Hons) in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry with a 1st. I have also studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths to A-level.

I have a friendly and approachable manner and excellent communication skills. I am fully CRB checked and I am willing to travel up to 30 minutes for tutoring.

I am flexible in my approach depending on what the students and parents decide to gain from the tutoring.

I do feel it is important to structure the sessions to ensure we make the best use of the time. Typically, I would suggest that we identify the challenging topics within the syllabus and address those, and also work with practice papers/model questions to improve on exam techniques.

Most importantly, the tutoring will be tailored to your needs. I aim to make the learning experience as enjoyable as possible and we will work in a way that best helps you to learn and achieve your goals.

Experience: I have taught Chemistry and Biology to students ranging from yr 11 to foundation degree level, and had very good feedback from them.
I have also got a lot of experience working with younger people, which includes organising workshops at schools and colleges, delivering ‘Student Life Presentations’ and organising outreach events aimed at assisting students with low grades.
