I have been teaching Science at Key Stage 3 & 4 for 17 years. I have taught AQA, EdExcel GCSE and IGCSE at both foundation and higher levels. I have taught Triple Chemistry at AQA and IGCSE Edexcel

I have been tutoring students in person and online for 5 years. I have an excellent retention rate and always build a strong rapport with my students. They learn to enjoy Science and build confidence in the subject, they often comment on how the tutoring dramatically changes their performance in the classroom during their school lessons.

I am approachable, conscientious and a good humoured flexible teacher, who focuses on each individuals learning needs and skills.

I have extensive experience in helping students progress to a grade 5 and above. I work strategically to teach and help students understand content whilst developing exam technique.

Availability: I am available weekdays and Saturday mornings

Experience: Throughout my 17 years of teaching I have always offered revision and catch up sessions so consider myself experienced and knowledgeable on dealing with problematic areas of the science curriculum and/or misconceptions.
