ABOUT ME:
I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First Class degree in chemistry.
I completed a post-graduate diploma for "Leadership in Teaching".

I work as a lead practitioner in teaching science at a school in Wolverhampton.
I work part-time and dedicate much of my time to online tutoring.

I teach all 3 sciences at KS3 and GCSE level. I specialise in chemistry and teach this at A-level.
I have experience in marking and moderating exam papers for AQA, so I can teach exam technique to optimise grades.


ABOUT LESSONS:
Lessons are tailored to the needs of the student however all lessons consist of the same key features:

- Short starter quiz - to recall learning from the previous sessions.

- Lots of active recall questions - to check for understanding throughout the session.

- Model examples

- Exam-style questions (from AQA resource base)

- Homework (optional based on student`s current workload)

- Feedback reports for parents after every major assessment.

Please note that I tutor the AQA specification only!
