I qualified as a teacher over 30 years ago, and have enjoyed teaching in a range of different schools and settings. I have worked with students who are gifted and talented, along with those with specific needs, such as dyslexia, autism, ADHD and other Specific Learning Difficulties. In 2020 I moved all of my tutoring online and have enjoyed teaching students with additional needs, from students needing extra catch up due to Covid to those suffering with their mental health and severe anxiety.

I like to get to know my students and have an open, friendly approach. All of my lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual student and are delivered at a pace suited to the student.

I am familiar with all exam boards I am currently delivering Functional Skills, GCSE Language and Literature and A Level English Literature.
