Charlie

Hi, I`m Charlie and I teach piano, ranging from absolute beginners through to advanced students. I guarantee fun and educational lessons, with a learning plan suited to your needs and wishes. My rate is £25 per lesson, and all lessons can be booked separately.
I plan to travel to you, if you live on the west side of the river, at no extra charge.

Experience: I’ve been teaching for several years in London, both privately in students’ homes and in group lessons at a school in south London, with over 20 students a week.

I`ve played the piano since I was 6, have studied composition and piano at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and am currently studying music at University of Southampton. When I was younger, I really enjoyed having the freedom to dictate my own loose structure of learning, making sure to play the things I wanted to play and not just exam pieces, which I think is really important in developing a lasting relationship with music. Since, I`ve gone on to learn the guitar, drums and, more recently, classical percussion and the oboe.
