I am teaching at home, but am teaching on Zoom if preferred. I am an experienced teacher who teaches maths and English up to year 6 but quite a lot of my work is year 10 and 11 preparing for GCSE maths. The first lesson will include an assessment and then we will work on areas in which the child needs help. I try to teach in a fun way for year 5 and 6 while ensuring they have mastered everything they need. But for year 10 and 11 I follow more what the student requires and aim to help them gain confidence in the subject. I live in Ware.

Availability: During the day and every evening.

Experience: I have been teaching in school for 20 years and have been tutoring since 2014. I have experience of teaching from year 2 up to year 6 and taught GCSE maths at a college for a couple of years. So I teach from 7 to 16 for maths. I prepare lots of children for SATs and GCSE maths covering all the different boards. I have a PGCE teaching qualification. I also have a current DBS.

I assess the children before beginning to work on the areas they need help.
