I am a 26 year old female working as a full time private tutor and also run my own tuition business in London. I have been tutoring as a full time private tutor for the past 2 and half years in London and accompanying families overseas. I have tutored over 40 students over this time period varying in age, level and duration.

I graduated from the University of Bath in 2012 with a Combined Honours Degree in Economics and Politics. My A Levels included English Literature (A), Economics (A), History (A) and Politics (A). I have since tutored a range of exam levels including: SATS, 11+ entry exams, Common Entrance, King`s Scholarship Eton, GCSE and AS/A Level.

My approach to tutoring is simple: I believe every student has the capability to do well and I see the potential in all of my tutees. The key to maximising a student’s potential is finding a method to unlock this, introducing imaginative and creative approaches to learning that strengthen and expand the student’s existing skillset.

The process of learning, from teaching through to receiving an education, can be a thoroughly exciting and rewarding experience when tailored to the needs and demand of the individual student. My approach to this is to develop a learning programme specific to my tutee’s abilities – analysing a student’s stimuli and learning obstructions, their aptitudes and challenges.

By formulating an educational approach central to the needs of the individual, one facilitates an environment where the tutee thrives and benefits most from one-to-one tuition. In doing so, I approach learning in a considered and sensitive way by taking the time to form a rapport with, and understanding of, my student. I enjoy and embrace the challenges of learning – having an array of experience from primary through to secondary, entrance examinations and 11+. I am invested in the success of my students, I am always happy to consider any length of teaching assignment and am very flexible to ensure I can accommodate the needs of my tutees.

Availability: Monday - Friday 9am - 8pm

Experience: My specialist subjects are 11+ (English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning). I also tutor English, Maths, History and Separate Science to GCSE Level and English Literature, Economics and Politics to A Level. I also run revision courses for the 11+ and 13+.

I have successfully guided children into top UK schools including Westminster, St Pauls, Godolphin & Latymer, Oundle, Francis Holland and Eton and have achieved top grade success with my tutees at GCSE and A Level.
