My name is Emma and I am a professional opera singer based in South East London. I teach singing one-on-one to both complete beginners and to the more advanced. If you`re looking for tuition in a friendly, fun, non pressured environment, then I am here to help!
My teaching practice is from my home, but I can also travel to you in the local area.

Having trained at GSMD, TrinityLaban and The Flanders Opera Studio, I am now working professionally and have much experience within the world of performance.

My lessons are fun and enjoyable whilst also being informative. I focus on basic vocal technique, building confidence, understanding musicality, and finding the voice within.

Experience: As a professional opera singer I have been working now for over 8 years with several of the leading UK opera companies. Alongside my singing I am an experienced singing teacher and have worked at schools such as Dulwich Preparatory Schools, Thomas` Battersea, Woldingham Schools for Girls, The Harrodian and more recently at Highbury Grove in Islington. I prepare students for ABRSM exams, graded theory exams and GCSE music exams.
I teach the flute from beginner to intermediate level and piano to beginners.
