Hi, I am Gaby and I graduated from the University of Northumbria with an English Language and Literature degree in 2015. Since then I have completed teacher training and hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, alongside Qualified Teaching Status. I currently work full time at a secondary school teaching KS3 and KS4. I am confident in supporting students at all levels and would be more than happy to adapt my teaching style and resources to suit each individual learner.

Availability: During term time: Weekday evenings (after 5:30pm)

During school holidays: Weekdays (anytime)

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have worked in a secondary school for two years since graduating from university. I have taught students ranging from Year 7 (age 11) to Year 11 age 16). I will continue to work in secondary education for my third year starting in September.

Additionally, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant teaching and supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. I have attended training on delivering Speech and Language Therapy sessions and did deliver these sessions whilst working as a Teaching Assistant for a year.

Furthermore, I taught English as an additional language in Thailand for 4 months whilst studying at University. I taught students aged 4-16. I also tutored the Thai teachers at the school on a 1:1 basis.
