Although I am now a leader of an independent secondary school, one of the highest performing in the UK, I am still at heart a teacher. I have a passionate love for my subjects of History and Politics and continue to teach both at GCSE, A Level and IB. In addition to working full time, I thoroughly enjoy and am experienced in supporting students as a tutor of these subjects. My style is one of discussion, debate and detailed knowledge to help you write confident, analytical and evaluative responses to examination questions.

Availability: During the Covid-19 pandemic, all tutoring will take place online.

Experience: As a History and Politics teacher and senior leader for over thirteen years, I am extremely experienced in delivering the subjects to GCSE, A Level and IB students. Currently Head of Politics and teacher of History at one of the UK`s leading independent schools, I am experienced in qualified in terms of curriculum content, assessment criteria and good examination practice. In addition, I have leadership and mentor experience of university applications, including Oxbridge and Russell Group, and the EPQ and am happy to support students in these in addition to (or separately from) History and Politics.
