Information about James
With two years of experience working in the classroom teaching KS3, GCSE and A Level Mathematics in North Yorkshire, I have returned home to North East. Previous to my teacher training, I volunteered as a Mathematics Learning Support Assistant in a Secondary school where on a daily basis would work with pupils of all abilities helping them to achieve their full potential. I’ve been tutoring here on TutorHunt for many years. I have had great joy and success helping students overcome the challenges they face in their learning.
I plan my sessions to meet the individual students needs by identifying their strengths and working with them to conquer the weaknesses in their subject knowledge. I am willing to go that extra mile marking and analysing work outside of the tutor sessions to provide constructive feedback at our next session.

Experience: I started tutoring on TutorHunt in February 2014 tutoring pupils. I Have worked with tutoring pupils in KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level pupils including Further Mathematics, Statistics and Mechanics modules.

Sadly lockdown happened after only one session for my daughter. We selected James for A level maths tuition and we were pleased with his first lesson. He was extremely enthusiastic and I believe he would have been a great help had school not closed down and exams were cancelled.

My daughter has had a few sessions with James now and so far everything is going great. He is very patient with her and she is coming out of her shell. He always has his sessions prepared in advance but is happy to work on anything that she is struggling with or help with test revision and homework. 5 stars!!!!
