Welcome to my profile,

Working as a secondary school maths teacher for 6 years and a private tutor for 3 of them, I decided to focus my energy on working with student who want to better themselves and maximise their learning and future prospects.

I have worked with some of the most able student helping them achieve fantastic results in the higher GCSEs along with working with student who drastically struggle with basic skills and enabling them to get the vital passes that they have required to progress onto college/apprentaships.

Personally I have no preference for either types of ability all I require is commitment and desire to achieve, with this attitude I am sure we will achieve fantastic results.

I am a strong believer in the traditional methods of learning opposed to current gimmicky computer based programs that some tuitions provide, unfortunately these methods forget to take into account the importance of actually showing method which is key to securing important marks, whilst also disabling/making it harder to develop skills based on shape and data problems.
