With 25 years` experience as a teacher, lecturer and examiner, I now head a specialist historical tour business. Tutoring allows me to continue to use my teaching skills and to continue to help students. I am also actively engaged in historical research and writing.
Availability: Flexible and not bound by school or college times.

Experience: I have 25 years of teaching experience, as a History specialist, at GCSE, A and undergraduate levels, having taken my first teaching job in 1990. I have taught in secondary schools, HE and FE colleges, a Russell Group university and even a high security prison. I have also taught for 11 years at one of the country`s leading sixth form colleges. I have a successful record for Oxbridge preparation and experience as an A Level and Russell Group university examiner.
