As a teacher and tutor, I can offer a variety of subject knowledge in general music and music theory whether that be in GCSE, BTEC, Diploma, BMus and PGCE. I am a professional singer and can offer lessons to a high standard, specialising in jazz, blues, contemporary, pop and classical music. As an educator i adopt a ; bubbly, confident and motivated attitude with a notably enthusiastic approach to not only music, but the provision of maintaining an effective environment which supports the learning of students. I am able to interact with students with an approachable and professional manner and still maintain a strong and positive relationship with said individual. I am an outstandingly hard-working teacher and use my initiative regularly to overcome certain tasks and have admirable punctuation. I excel at working under exam pressure and will ensure the student can walk into an exam feeling a sense of calmness and confidence. I feel as though my holistic, reflective and unique teaching styles help the progression and retention of student knowledge, whilst creating a happy, safe and informative environment. I started my career in an SEMH primary school, where the students came from disadvantaged situations and challenging backgrounds. These students came to our school in the hopes of receiving a higher level of intimate care, specified for their individual needs. I began working as an unqualified teacher immediately after finishing my degree.
